Training and developing of the physical and health education teachers is essential to the success of students in the schools. We need to constantly improve teacher’s knowledge and skills in all areas. Informing the teachers and keeping them up to date with physical and health education policies and activities allow them to be better equipped to guide all students into the future. Physical education teachers from ninety five of the one hundred and seven elementary schools attended at least one physical education professional development training this year. Physical education teachers from twenty four of the thirty six middle schools attended at least one physical education professional development training this year. Physical education teachers from nineteen of the twenty four high schools attended at least one physical education professional development training this year.
