RULE NUMBER: Policy 8.01.

SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Updating the reference to the current Student Progression Plans.

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: This revision updates the version of the Student Progression Plans that are incorporated by reference. By including a reference to the 2005-2006 Student Progression Plans, the updated Policy will reflect the changes that the Board approved for the Middle School Student Progression Plan on December 14, 2005, to authorize a new alternative education pilot program.

PUBLIC HEARING: It is anticipated that this rule development will be considered at the School Board's Special Meeting on Policies on February 22, 2006, anticipated to begin at 5:00 p.m., in the Board Chambers at 3300 Forest Hill Blvd., West Palm Beach, Fla. The hearing is open to the public. AGENDA: A copy of the agenda will be available by February 15 on the District’s Web site.
