CHANGE from April 12 to April 19: The public hearing for the following proposed rules, previously announced for April 12, has been postponed to April 19, 2004, at 5:00 p.m.

PROPOSED RULE ADOPTIONS AFFECTED: Policies 8.20 "Transfer of High School Credits;" 2.59 "Political Activities on School Board Property;" 6.085 "Debt Management;" 1.094 "Finance Committee;" 3.961 "Drug- and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy for Employees Performing Safety-Sensitive Functions and Holders of Commercial Drivers Licenses;" and 5.1816 "Student Records Correction and Appeals."

PROPOSED RULE DEVELOPMENTS AFFECTED: Policies 5.1817 "Student Expulsion;" 5.1818 "Student Reinstatement;" 5.1815 "Student Suspension;" 8.1225 "Instructional Materials Accountability;" 7.25 "Designation of Historic School Board Facilities;" 6.14 "Purchasing Department;" 6.01 "Authorized Travel Expense Reimbursement;" Repeal of 2.51 "Contracts for Professional and Technical Consultative Services;" and Repeal of 6.145 "Contracts for Other Professional and Technical Services."
