SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Revising the Audit Committee charter in the form of a Policy and in accordance with School Board Policy 1.09, "Advisory Committees to the Board."

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: This proposed Policy, based on the existing Audit Committee Charter adopted by the Board in 1998, summarizes the authority, responsibilities, governance, and internal control of the Audit Committee as an advisory committee, and the Committee's relationship to the District Auditor.
