TITLE: Internal Audit Function.

CHANGE: The Board requested a substantive amendment to the proposed rule which had been anticipated to be adopted at the special meeting on Policies on December 2, 2002.

EFFECT OF THE CHANGE: The District Auditor would advise individual Board members periodically of significant findings identified during an audit, before the final audit report is released. Additionally, section (2)(a) would be amended to clarify that the Audit Committee will give input to the Board in the Board’s evaluations of the District Auditor; statutory references are also updated to reflect the January effective date of the new K-20 Education Code.
