TITLE: Construction Oversight and Review Committee.

CHANGES: A final public hearing for adoption of this rule is expected to be held at the School Board’s special meeting on Policies on October 14, 2002, and it is anticipated that the official adoption will take place on or about November 10. The rule will not be adopted on October 9 as previously announced. Amendments were made to the proposed rule at the special meeting on Policies on September 9, 2002. A further amendment was suggested at the regular School Board meeting on September 18, 2002, to the effect that Board members would be encouraged to reappoint existing CORC members in order to take advantage of their knowledge and experience as committee members.

SUMMARY: The Policy sets forth the purpose, advisory functions, membership parameters, and member-appointment procedures for the CORC in accordance with School Board Policy 1.09, "Advisory Committees to the Board;" and provides for annual review of the charter/Policy.
