RULE TITLE: Comprehensive Safety Inspections.

RULE NUMBER: Policy 2.031.

SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Sanitation, casualty, and firesafety inspections of District facilities.

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To amend the existing Policy to ensure compliance with recent changes in state law under Ch. 2002-287, Laws of Florida (effective July 1, 2002) and Fla. Stat. § 1013.12, which took effect on January 7, 2003; prescribes inspections twice per year, including an annual firesafety inspection by local authorities in addition to an annual sanitation, casualty, and firesafety inspection by the District; provides for reports to authorities and correction of deficiencies.
