RULE TITLE: The Education Network.

RULE NUMBER: Policy 2.52.

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The proposed Policy defines the function of the Palm Beach County School District's Open Access Channel 19 (The Education Network), provides information and direction to District staff regarding the network, and assists the public in understanding the services offered by the network.

SUMMARY: This new policy authorizes the Superintendent and designees to produce, air, and distribute educational programming for the educational benefit of the community.

LAWS IMPLEMENTED: §§ 1001.41(1), (3); 1001.42(15)(a), Fla. Stat.

SUMMARY OF STATEMENT OF ESTIMATED REGULATORY COST (OPTIONAL, IF ONE HAS BEEN PREPARED): None. Any person who wishes to provide information regarding a statement of estimated regulatory costs, or to provide a proposal for a lower cost regulatory alternative, must do so in writing within 21 days of the publication of this Notice.
