RULE TITLE: Appointment and Reappointment of Instructional Personnel.

RULE NUMBER: Policy 3.15.

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To update the Policy to reflect new statutory provisions of Fla. Stat. § 1012.22(1)(b), effective in January of 2003, regarding the timeline for annual reappointment of instructional personnel.

SUMMARY: In accordance with recent revisions to the Education Code the Policy will require Board action on instructional personnel reappointments by three weeks after the end of the regular legislative session or May 31, whichever is later.

Any person who wishes to provide information regarding a statement of estimated regulatory costs, or to provide a proposal for a lower cost regulatory alternative, must do so in writing within 21 days of the publication of this Notice.
