NOTICE OF PROPOSED RULE DEVELOPMENT & PUBLIC HEARING

RULE TITLE: Appointment and Reappointment of Personnel.

RULE NUMBER: Policy 3.15.

SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Implementation of a timeline for appointment and reappointment of personnel in accordance with recent revisions to the Education Code.

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To update the Policy to reflect new statutory provisions of Fla. Stat. § 1012.22(1)(b), effective in January of 2003, regarding the timeline for annual reappointment personnel.

PUBLIC HEARING: It is anticipated that this rule development will be considered at the School Board's Special Meeting on Policies on October 13, 2003, anticipated to begin at 2:00 p.m., in the Board Chambers at 3300 Forest Hill Blvd., West Palm Beach, Fla. The meeting is open to the public.
