RULE NUMBER: Policy 5.11.

SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Procedures to be followed when a person other than the parent or legal guardian will pick up a student from school, or when a DCF or law enforcement officer will remove the student from school.

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: This revision clarifies and expands the detail of the procedures to ensure that the release of students is authorized by the parent/guardian and/or state law.
