RULE TITLE: Student Code of Conduct Terms.

RULE NUMBER: Policy 5.1811.

SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Definitions of terms used in the Policies related to student conduct and discipline.

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The Board adopted revisions to the Code of Conduct Policies, 5.1812 and 5.1813, on January 13, 2003. The executive summary for the revision of Policies 5.1812 and 5.1813 stated: "Once these policies are approved, then Policy 5.1811 - Student Code of Conduct Terms, will need to be updated to reflect the minor definitional changes and provide consistency between the policies." This revision updates statutory citations and brings the definitions into conformity with the minor revisions to Policies 5.1812 and 5.1813.
