POLICY TITLE: Operational Procedures for Incidents and Actions for Elementary Students. POLICY NUMBER: 5.1812. SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Updating the coding system used by schools for classifying and handling infractions by elementary students. PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The Discipline Committee has recommended a few new incident codes and action codes, as well as some minor definition revisions and changes to the matrix, which should assist in more accurately handling discipline in the schools; corrects clerical errors in the current version and reflects revisions recommended when training materials were developed.
