RULE TITLE: Student Expulsion .

RULE NUMBER: Policy 5.1817.

SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Procedures and standards for making and processing recommendations for the expulsion of students for serious violations of the Student Code of Conduct.

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To provide uniform procedures and standards for administrators in making and processing recommendations for student expulsion; procedures for hearing officers; and standards for Board consideration of expulsion recommendations.
