RULE TITLE: Student Early Reinstatement .

RULE NUMBER: Policy 5.1818.

SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Standards for the limited opportunity for early reinstatement of students that have been expelled, pursuant to Fla. Stat. § 1001.43(1)(e).

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: It is the intent of the School Board that students serve the full term of their expulsions, while also recognizing the appropriateness of limited exceptions where students demonstrate fulfillment of stated criteria. This proposed Policy would codify standards and criteria for consideration of students' requests for early reinstatement.
