RULE TITLE: Cellular Telephones and Other Wireless Communication Devices (of Students).

RULE NUMBER: Policy 5.183.

SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Possession of wireless communications devices by students; and consequences for misuse of such devices.

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To prohibit possession or use of camera phones, while allowing possession (but not use) of regular non-camera cell phones and other wireless communications devices; and to implement recent legislative changes to Fla. Stat. § 1006.07(2)(d), (e).
