POLICY TITLE: Land and Facility Interim Property Management. POLICY NUMBER: 7.012. PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To provide for management of Board-owned properties from the date of acquisition to the beginning of new construction of a school or school-support facility. SUMMARY: Defines "interim property management period for land; defines "interim property management for facility"; Applies only to real improved and/or unimproved property not utilized for educational purposes and classified as "interim"; Interim property may be considered for lease, sale and/or donation. SPECIFIC POLICYMAKING AUTHORITY: §§ 230.22(21); 230.23(22); 230.23005(4), Fla. Stat. LAWS IMPLEMENTED: §§ 230.23(9)(b); 230.33(4); 230.33(11), Fla. Stat. SUMMARY OF STATEMENT OF ESTIMATED REGULATORY COST (IF ONE HAS BEEN PREPARED): No Financial Impact to the District is Anticipated. Any person who wishes to provide information regarding the statement of estimated regulatory costs, or to provide a proposal for a lower cost regulatory alternative, must do so in writing within 21 days of the publication of this Notice. A proposed adoption notice was also published on March 4, 2002. HEARING INFORMATION: Adoption of the proposed Policy will be considered at the School Board's Special Meeting on Policies on June 3, 2002 (anticipated to be 3:30 p.m.), in the Board Chambers at 3300 Forest Hill Blvd., West Palm Beach, Fla. The meeting is open to the public.
