RULE TITLE: Errors and Omissions of Construction-Related Professionals.

RULE NUMBER: Policy 7.065.

SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Handling errors or omissions by construction-related professionals, such as architects and engineers, under contract with the Board.

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To set forth the guidelines for handling errors or omissions by construction-related professionals, under contract with the Board, which lead to contingency change authorizations, authorizations to adjust contingency, construction change directives, and change order request proposals in the District’s construction projects.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE: Development of the proposed rule is anticipated to be considered at the School Board's Special Meeting on Policies on August 2, 2004, anticipated to begin at 2:15 p.m. in the Board Chambers at 3300 Forest Hill Blvd., West Palm Beach, Fla. AGENDA: A copy of the agenda will be available by July 26 on the District’s Web site. Pursuant to the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person requiring special accommodations to participate in these meetings is asked to advise the agency at least 48 hours before the workshop by contacting the Board clerk at 434-8139.
