RULE NUMBER: Policy 7.10.

SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Procedures for advertising invitations to bid on construction projects, opening the bids, and recommending award of the contract.

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To update the Policy to reflect the current Florida Dept. of Education regulations on construction bids. The bidding process will be used to award construction, remodeling, or renovation/addition projects for any educational plant or ancillary facility amounting to $200,000 or more and electrical projects of $50,000 or more unless other contract processes authorized by law are used.
