NOTICE OF PROPOSED RULE ADOPTION & PUBLIC HEARING

RULE TITLE: Five-Year District Facilities Work Program: Annual Update, Amendment, and Adoption.

RULE NUMBER: Policy 7.132.

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The minor revisions to this Policy and three others in Chapter 7 are needed to implement amendments to the Interlocal Agreement for Concurrency, on which the required number of municipalities have recently signed off.

SUMMARY: Updates statutory citations and terminology; provides for using alternative funding sources for financing capital improvements; changes the date from May 31 to July 1 for transmitting the proposed five-year capital work plan to local governments and the District's Concurrency Technical Advisory Group; clarifies that the five-year work program is part of the District Educational Facilities Plan.
