RULE NUMBER: Policy 7.136.

SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Exemption from certain limitations in state law regarding cost per student station in school construction.

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To implement an exemption approved by the State Board of Education on January 21, 2003, for Charter District status, by developing and adopting a Policy consistent with the State's waiver which will allow the Board to exceed the statutory maximum cost per student station under criteria stated in the waiver documentation, with oversight from the Construction Oversight and Review Committee.
