SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Procedures and standards for granting drainage easements to developers or landowners.

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To establish standardized procedures for evaluating requests from developers or landowners for an easement across school property to enable drainage of their land into canals closer to the school property. Sets forth procedures for valuing the easement via an appraisal; requires payment of the consideration; mandates certain provisions in the easement agreement; and requires the easement to be recorded as a written instrument.
