SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Adopting, purchasing, allocating, using, and disposing of textbooks and related materials.

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: This proposed revision will include minor updates to the Policy to reflect the adoption of the new K-20 Education Code and the proposed adoption of Policy 8.1225, regarding accountability for instructional materials, as well as incorporating portions of Directive 8.123.
