RULE TITLE: Home Education Program.

RULE NUMBER: Policy 8.14.

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To set forth home education requirements and procedures.

SUMMARY: Updates the existing Policy to reflect current procedures and inform parents of the current requirements of the District's home education program pursuant to state law.

SPECIFIC RULEMAKING AUTHORITY: §§ 1002.41(2), (3); 1002.41; Fla. Stat.

LAWS IMPLEMENTED: §§ 1002.01(1); 1002.41; 1003.01; and 1006.15, Fla. Stat.

SUMMARY OF STATEMENT OF ESTIMATED REGULATORY COST (OPTIONAL, IF ONE HAS BEEN PREPARED): None. Any person who wishes to provide information regarding a statement of estimated regulatory costs, or to provide a proposal for a lower cost regulatory alternative, must do so in writing within 21 days of the publication of this Notice.
