SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Home education: requirements and procedures.

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To update the existing Policy to reflect current procedures and inform parents of the current requirements of the District's home education program pursuant to state law.

LAWS IMPLEMENTED: §§ 1002.01(1); 1002.41; 1003.01; and 1006.15, Fla. Stat.

PUBLIC HEARING: It is anticipated that this Policy development will be considered at the School Board's Special Meeting on Policies on March 24, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. in the Board Chambers at 3300 Forest Hill Blvd., West Palm Beach, Fla. The meeting is open to the public.
