Title: PM2 Project Modifications for Boca Raton Middle

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board ratify Project Modifications in the amount of $5,450.00 for Boca Raton Community Middle School, Modernization Project, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.

Description:

Boca Raton Community Middle School – Modernization Project #1491-8379

This project modification contains the following item:

• CCD #1 in the amount of $5,450.00.
• Description:  Change the four (4) side court backboards from fiberglass to glass with edge padding.  Also, include manual height adjusters on the four (4) side court and (2) main court backboards.
• Cause:  Outside Agency.
• Justification:  The City of Boca Raton uses the gym as part of their Boca Hoops program.  They requested the change and provided the funding.

Financial Impact:

The financial impact to the Project's Budget is $5,450.00, since reimbursement has already been received.

The source of funds is the City of Boca Raton.
