Title: PD4 Approval of Final Order re: Frederick Ellis

Recommendation:

I recommend that the School Board approve the Final Order for School Board of Palm Beach County v. Frederick Ellis, a copy of which is attached hereto, and authorize the execution of all related documents.

Description:

• On August 14, 2004, the Superintendent signed an administrative petition for termination of employment of Mr. Ellis.
• On December 14, 2004, an Administrative Hearing was held before Judge Stuart Lerner regarding the termination of employment of Mr. Ellis.
• On February 14, 2005, Judge Lerner recommended upholding the termination of employment of Mr. Ellis.
• This Final Order is in the best interest of the School Board.

Financial Impact:
There is no financial impact to the District.
