Title: CP3 Approval of Continuing Contract for Castaldi Reporting Experience

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board approve the Continuing Contract for Castaldi Reporting Consultant Services to BRPH Architects-Engineers for Castaldi Reporting on projects that the construction budgets are less than $1,000,000, for studies whereby professional fees do not exceed $50,000, for a period of one (1) year from April 20, 2006 through April 19, 2007.

CP3 Approval of Continuing Contract for Castaldi Reporting Experience

Castaldi Reporting Consultant Services on a “Continuing Contract” basis for School District projects having construction budgets of less than $1,000,000, for study activity when the fee for such professional services does not exceed $50,000, or for work of a specified nature as outlined in the contract required by the District.

Three (3) firms responded to the RFP and all three (3) were shortlisted, one (1) firm withdrew from presentations. The top ranked firm is being recommended for contract negotiations as follows:

(1) BRPH Architects-Engineers, Inc.

(2) Harvard Jolly, Inc.

Minority Participation: 15%

Financial Impact:

The financial impact is from various funds in an amount not to exceed $200,000. per year. The source of funds is the corresponding Capital Projects Budget.
