Title: P2 Maintenance and Technical Support from School Link Technologies, Inc.

Recommendation:

I recommend approval of the payment for terminal maintenance and technical support to School Link Technologies, Inc. and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all necessary documents.

Description:

P2 Approve the annual payment for terminal maintenance and technical support to School Link Technologies, Inc., in the not-to-exceed amount of $79,997.

·       Cost includes maintenance / repair / replacement of all School Link Technologies Systems’ equipment located at all School District cafeterias and the School Food Service office.

·       School Link Technologies, Inc. will provide a toll-free technical support line, yearly upgrades and improvements on software.

·       The District requires maintenance and support at 169 food service sites and the central office for a total of 683 point-of-sale stations and peripheral equipment.

·       The contract period is July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007.  The cost for the 2006-2007 school year is $79,997.

Financial Impact:
The financial impact to the District Budget is estimated at $79,997.  The source of funds is the School Food Service Department budget.
