Title: CC2 Approve Amendment for New Dimensions Technology Corp.

Recommendation:
I recommend award of the consultant contract amendment with New Dimensions Technology Corp. and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all needed documents.

Description:

CC2 Changes made to the Agreement are as follows:

Revise the contract approved by the School Board on June 29, 2005 as follows:

3.1  Price - Increase the maximum number of hours by 1200 (from 2543 to 3743) and increase the maximum sum by $84,000.00 (from $178,010.00 to $262,010.00).
    
4.1  Term - Extend the term through October 31, 2006.

Schedule 1.8 - SCOPE OF SERVICE

1)  Provide the School District of Palm Beach County with technical support of District Payroll and Human Resource System (CHIPS) and supporting applications such as Benefits enrollment, NCLB, HOUSSE applications through go live date of ERP system.
    
2)  Provide the School District of Palm Beach County with technical support of ERP system integration and interfacing with State Reporting and Benefits Data Transmission to outside providers.
  
3)  Provide the School District of Palm Beach County with continued technical support of NCLB and Vendor Diversity Tracking Applications.
    
4)  Rollover of FY06 - FY07 staff data to be done in CHIPS and ERP conversion.

Financial Impact:

Authorized Amount this Request:  $84,000.00

Previously Authorized Amount Year-to-Date:  $178,010.00

Total Authorized Amount if Request Approval:  $262,010.00
