New Business - Labor Agreements/Contracts

Title: LA1-MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN CTA AND PALM BEACH COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT

Recommendation:

I recommend that the School Board approve the Memorandum of Understanding between the Classroom Teachers Association that extends the 2002-2006 MOU at Pine Grove Elementary School for the 2006-2007 school year as modified.

 

Description:

All provisions of the 2002-2006 Memorandum of Understanding between the School District of Palm Beach County and the Classroom Teachers Association will continue throughout the 2006-2007 school year except as modified below:

 

§         The salary supplement paid to full-time instructional staff assigned to Pine Grove Elementary School is reduced from $7,000 to $5,000 for the 2006-2007 school year.

  • The number of additional work hours for full-time instructional staff at Pine Grove Elementary School is reduced from one-hundred seventy-five (175) hours to one-hundred twenty-five (125) hours for the 2006-2007 school year.

Financial Impact:
The financial impact in FY-07 will be $332,750.
