Title: Recommendation: Description: The Coalition for Independent Living Options, Inc. (CILO), provides a summer camp program for students with disabilities. For the past two years, The School District and CILO have cooperated in supporting families of students with disabilities who desire to attend the CILO summer program and are eligible for Extended School Year (ESY) services. Certain students with disabilities who attend this camp are also eligible for Extended School Year (ESY) services according to their IEP's. These students are offered the opportunity to receive their ESY related services at the camp site located in the district. Approval of this Cooperative Agreement will enable the students to attend the CILO camp program and still receive a portion of their ESY services. Services at the camp are limited to speech therapy, language therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy, as determined by the IEP team. Parents who select this program as an option, instead of the school based ESY program, are advised and agree to these limited services. The district will hire related service personnel to provide services in accordance with each students' ESY IEP. Progress will be documented on each student's ESY IEP at the end of the ESY program.
