Title: G9-Consider Acceptance of a Grant for $50,250.00 from the Florida Department of Education for Commun

Recommendation:
I recommend the School Board accept the grant funds for Communications Equipment/Technology.

Description:

• The equipment purchased through this grant will enhance emergency communication with other law enforcement agencies as well as within the School District.
• The equipment will be issued to school police officers and will be used daily to communicate and provide for the safety of students, staff, district personnel, and parents.

Financial Impact:
There is no financial impact to the School District.
