Title: PM4 Project Modifications for Don Estridge

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board approve Project Modifications in the amount of $7,410.00 for Don Estridge High Tech Middle School, Design/Build Project, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.

Description:

Don Estridge Tech Middle School – Design/Build Project #2711-8193

This project modification contains the following item:

• CCD #17 in the amount of $7,410.00.
• Description:  Regrade ball fields, cleanup site, and upright downed trees in areas around athletic fields as a result of Hurricanes Frances, Ivan, and Jeanne.
• Cause:  School District Requested.
• Justification:  The cleanup of the athletic field area immediately after the hurricanes was required to keep the construction of these fields on schedule.

Financial Impact:

The financial impact to the Project's Budget is $7,410.00.

The source of funds is the project budget as approved by the Board at the time of the Construction Contract Award.  Up to 90% of eligible expenses are expected to reimbursed by FEMA.
