On February 20, 2002 an Interlocal Agreement was approved by the School Board and the City of Delray Beach for the acquisition of a site for the new Atlantic High School.
The property was conveyed to the School District in time for the new school opening in August 2005.
The City agreed to prepare the final plat for the 43-acre Atlantic High School as required by City Ordinance.
The plat includes formal abandonment of rights of way of dedicated street networks within the Parkside Town Homes and Breezy Ridge Estates plats located on the north side of West Atlantic Avenue, between Coral Trace Boulevard and Lake Worth Drainage District (LWDD) E-4 Canal.
The City has already approved the plat.
The Plat has been reviewed by School District staff and is in conformance with the requirements as stated in the Interlocal Agreement.
