Title: PM2 Project Modifications for John I. Leonard High

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board ratify Project Modifications for the addition of seventy-seven (77) consecutive calendar days for John I. Leonard High School, Modernization Project, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.

Description:

 

John I. Leonard High School Modernization Project #1361-8218

  

This project modification contains the following item:

 

  • COPR #1 for the addition of seventy-seven (77) consecutive calendar days for Building #10 and thirty five (35) for Building #9.
  • Description:  Revise the substantial completion date from June 15, 2006, to August 31, 2006, due to loss of power during Hurricane Wilma.
  • Cause:  Unforeseen Condition.
  • Justification: This project was scheduled to receive power on November 4, 2005. Due to Florida Power and Light working on the hurricane restoration effort, permanent power was not restored until December 28, 2005. 

Financial Impact:

The financial impact to the Project's Budget is $0.00.
