Title: CP6 Service Potable Water and Waste Water Treatment Plants

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board approve the negotiation and approval of a contract with Palm Beach County for Potable Water and Waste Water Treatment Plants and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all necessary documents.

Description:

Maintain and repair the District’s Potable Water and Waste Water Treatment Plants at Jupiter Farms Elementary School, Loxahatchee Groves Elementary School and Burt Reynolds Ranch to Palm Beach County.

(1)            Potable Water and Waste Water Treatment Plants are used when city hook-ups are unavailable.

(2)            Services will mirror the requirements by the Health Department to include a one hour visit per day at each potable water and waste water treatment plant, Monday through Friday and one weekend visit Saturday or Sunday.

Financial Impact:
The financial impact is $200,000.  The source of funds is the Capital Maintenance Transfer.
