Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board approve the addition of fourteen (14) consecutive calendar days for Palm Springs Community Middle School, Modernization Project, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.

Description:

Palm Springs Community Middle School – Modernization Project #0611-8284 

This project modification contains the following item:

• COPR #2 for the addition of fourteen (14) consecutive calendar days.
• Description:  Revise the substantial completion date from May 30, 2006, to June 13, 2006.
• Cause:  Unforeseen Condition.
• Justification: Work stopped from October 21, 2005 through November 3, 2005, due to loss of power during Hurricane Wilma.

Financial Impact:

The financial impact to the Project's Budget is $0.00.
