Title: RE1 Approve Lease Agreement/Classroom Space Osborne Community Center

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board approve the renewal of a two-year Lease Agreement for Classroom Space; and authorize the Superintendent and Chairman to sign all necessary documents.


Description:

·        Lake Worth High School has a continuing need for classroom space for its Adult Education ESOL, GED, and ABE programs.

 

·        The City of Lake Worth’s Osborne Community Center has classroom space available.

 

·        The renewed lease term is for two 9 ½ month periods.  August 11, 2006 to May 31, 2006 and from August 11, 2006 to May 31, 2007.

 

·        The annual rent is $1,425.00 payable at $150.00 per month, including utilities.

 

·        The classroom space will be utilized

       Monday thru Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to

       noon. 


              ·   The premises being leased consist of three
                  (3) classrooms and parking, located at 1699
                  Wingfield Street, Lake Worth, Florida.


Financial Impact:
The financial impact of $2,850.00 will be provided by Lake Worth High School Adult Education Program.
