Title: PM3 Educational Specification for Wellington Community High Recommendation:
I recommend the School Board approve the Educational Specification for the addition to Wellington High and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.
Description:
- The modification to Wellington High School is scheduled to commence 2007 and be completed by 2008.
- The modification to Wellington High will include instructional spaces for the Equine Academy/Pre-Veterinary Program as approved by the Program Proposal process.
- The Educational Specification for Wellington High is consistent with the Class Size Reduction (CSR) Facility Lists and CSR generic educational specification approved by the Board on October 19, 2005.
- The existing facilities will be analyzed by the project architect to determine appropriate usage of the site and buildings for necessary renovations and remodeling to meet SREF size standards, ADA requirements and other code issues.
- The Educational Specification was reviewed and approved by the Principal.
Financial Impact:
Financial impact will be determined when construction contract is negotiated.
