Title: Recommendation: I recommend the School Board approve Reduction of Retainage from 10% to 5% for Omni Middle School, HVAC Replacement Project, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents. Description: Omni Middle School – HVAC Replacement Project #1991-8222 Description: On Omni Middle School, the Contractor, Hill York Services, has completed all phases except for the final phase, Kitchen & Cafeteria. The final phase could not be started until the end of the school year, and is scheduled for a July 15 completion. The Contractor has achieved substantial completion on March 25, 2005, and requested a Reduction of Retainage from 10% to 5%; the Architect and District staff recommends this reduction.
