Title: National Community Education Day

Recommendation:
I recommend the School Board approve the Proclamation declaring December 2, 2005 as National Community Education Day.

Description: The Community Education concept emphasizes an expanded role for public school resources and provides a mechanism to address both the present and potential educational needs of all community members.  The School District is committed to enhancing the collaboration and involvement of families, community members, organizations, teachers and students in problem solving and decision making that leads to a more meaningful and innovative experience for all.
