Title: International Education Week

Recommendation:
I recommend the School Board approve the Resolution declaring November 14-18, 2005 as International Education Week.

Description: International education provides students the opportunity to understand global issues and to prepare themselves to live and work in the global economy.  The quality of education and life is enhanced by learning foreign languages and by facilitating international exchanges for students and teachers.
