Title: CP3 Additional Expenditure for Survey Services

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board approve the recommendation for Additional expenditure for Survey Consultants Services on Continuing contract with SFRN, Inc., Heller-Weaver and Sheremeta, Inc., Adair & Brady, Inc., Keith and Schnars, P.A., Arcadis and Bowyer-Singleton & Associates, Inc. and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all required documents.

Description: The scope of work will be provided as applicable based on Florida Statute (F.S.) 287.055(g) “…whereby the Consultant provides professional services to the Owner for the projects in which construction costs do not exceed $1,000,000, for study activity when the fee for such professional services does not exceed $50,000. This Agreement represents a Continuing Contract, for a period of one year from April 20, 2006 through April 19, 2007, subject to two (2) additional one year periods based on favorable annual performance. Renewal notices will be sent each additional year.

Financial Impact:

The financial impact is $200,000 total from the Capital Budget.  Charges will be allocated to each project in accordance with the services required.
