Title: CC9 Consultant Contract for The Efficacy Institute

Recommendation:
I recommend award of the consultant contract with The Efficacy Institute, for $85,000.00, effective September 21, 2006 through September 30, 2006, and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all needed documents.

Description: CC9 The Consultant shall perform the following services: Train and certify 20 community based organizations to deliver Efficacy training in the community.  This will include trainers, materials, and licensing to use copyrighted Efficacy materials. The Efficacy Institute training will be provided to staff at 20 community agencies who may then in turn train other staff and community members. This grant funded contract also includes a licensing fee which will allow the school district to use all of the Efficacy Institute's training and materials for two years.

Total Authorized Amount if Request Approval: $94,900.00
