Title: CC11 Consultant Contract for James P. Brown

Recommendation:
I recommend award of the consultant contract with James P. Brown, for $38,500.00, effective September 21, 2006 through June 30, 2007, and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all needed documents.

Description: CC11 The Consultant shall perform the following services:  Provide technical support, training, and data analysis to school and district personnel for student data used in the TERMS student database.  Also assist and train I.T. staff to become proficient in training these topics.  Work as needed with other Departments who need to track/analyze data in Student TERMS.

Authorized Amount this Request:  $38,500.00

Previously Authorized Amount Year-to-Date:  $9,800.00

Total Authorized Amount if Request Approval:  $48,300.00
