Title: CC2 Consultant Contract for Bonnie Valdes Consulting Services, Inc.

Recommendation:
I recommend award of the consultant contract with Bonnie Valdes Consulting Services, Inc., for $35,000.00, effective October 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007, and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all needed documents.

Description: CC2 The Consultant shall perform the following services: Conduct training for the District's CRISS Level 2 participants to become trainers.  Conduct CRISS walk-through for Administrators on effective instructional strategies.  Conduct workshops on new initiatives, "Lesson Plan Design" and "Using CRISS and FCAT success with CRISS".  Update current trainers with the most current research techniques.
