Title: CC5 Consultant Contract for Nova Southeastern University

Recommendation:
I recommend award of the consultant contract with Nova Southeastern University, for $70,500.00, effective September 21, 2006 through June 30, 2007, and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all needed documents.

Description: CC5 The Consultant shall perform the following services: Nova Southeastern University will provide 75 Palm Beach County ESOL, English Language Arts, English Teachers, or Reading Teachers (25 participants per course), with an eight-week course, including textbook, in an online format via WebCT as mandated by the Multicultural Education Training and Advocacy (META) Consent Degree of August 14,1990. See Exhibit C.

Total Authorized Amount if Request Approval: $370,500.00
