Title: PM12 Project Modifications for Citrus Cove Elementary

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board approve Project Modifications the amount of $1,240,172.00 for Citrus Cove Elementary School, Classroom Addition Project, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.

Description:

 

Citrus Cove Elementary School – Classroom Addition Project #2071-8307

 

This project modification contains the following item:

 

§          Additional Architectural Services in the amount of $40,172.00.

§          Description: Provide all necessary labor, materials, bonds and insurance to provide construction documents and specifications for the roofing replacement of the existing building.

§          Cause: School District Requested

§          Justification:  The roofing replacement is necessary.  However, it was omitted from the original contract scope.

§          The Estimated Construction Cost is $1.2 Million.

Financial Impact:

The financial impact to the Project's Budget is $1,240,172.00.

 

The source of funds is the project budget as approved by the Board at the time of the Construction Contract Award.
