Title: PM5 Project Modifications for Jerry Thomas Elementary

Recommendation:

I recommend the School Board ratify Project Modifications in the amount of $32,582.00 for Jerry Thomas Elementary School, Classroom Addition Project, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.

Description:

 

Jerry Thomas Elementary School – Classroom Addition Project #1651-8375

  

This project modification contains the following item:

 

  • CCD #1 in the amount of $32,582.00
  • Description:  Provide all demolition, clearing, grubbing, earthwork, grading, and sod on existing drainage canal.
  • Cause:  Outside Agency/Design Omission.
  • Justification:  Required by the agreement between the School District of Palm Beach County and the North Palm Beach Heights Water Control District. Original Civil Engineer (Neuhaus) was replaced when they closed their Palm Beach office.

Financial Impact:

The financial impact to the Project's Budget is $32,582.00.

 

The source of funds is the project budget as approved by the Board at the time of the Construction Contract Award.
